We want to be upfront about what StockM8does and doesn’t do. This page is written plainly on purpose.

We find and fix named issues — not “compliance”

Our scans, audits, and remediation identify specific, named accessibility problems and fix them to a professional standard against the WCAG 2.1 guidelines. That’s genuinely valuable and it measurably improves your site for real users. But we do not, and cannot, certify that a website is fully “compliant,” “accessible to everyone,” or “lawsuit-proof.” Anyone promising that is overselling.

Automated scans have limits

Automated testing reliably detects only a portion of real accessibility issues — commonly around a third. A clean automated scan does not mean a site is free of barriers, and our free preview and full reportreflect what the scan can detect. Even thorough testing and fixes can’t catch every possible problem for every user and assistive technology.

Nothing on this website or in our reports is legal advice. Accessibility obligations — for example under the Australian Disability Discrimination Act 1992or laws in other countries — depend on your specific circumstances. If you need to understand your legal position, please consult a qualified lawyer. We can help you improve and document your site; we can’t tell you whether you meet a legal threshold.

Your site keeps changing

A website is never “done.” New content, plugins, themes, or third-party widgets can introduce fresh accessibility problems after we’ve delivered our work. Our findings and fixes reflect the state of your site at the time we tested it. Keeping it accessible over time is what our monitoring service is for.

We can’t control content, embeds, or services supplied by third parties on your site, and any external links on this website are provided for convenience — we’re not responsible for the content of external sites.
