Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Taylored Electrical Group Pty Ltd, trading as StockM8(“we,” “us,” “our”), handles personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we aim to meet the expectations of the EU/UK GDPR for anyone in those regions. 1. What information we collect

• Contact details you give us — such as your name, email address, business name, and website address — when you request a scan or get in touch.
• Scan data — publicly available information from your website, gathered automatically to test it against accessibility criteria. This is technical page content and markup, not personal data about your site’s visitors.
• Outreach contact details — where we run a proactive scan, a business contact email address published on the website itself, used only to send a one-time message about the findings.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and basic billing details, but not your full card number.
• Basic website analytics — standard, privacy-respecting information about how this site is used, to help us improve it.

2. How we use it

• To run the accessibility scan or audit you asked for and send you the results.
• To deliver, support, and bill for services you purchase.
• To respond to your enquiries.
• To send a one-time outreach email about a scan of your public website (see below), and to honour unsubscribe requests.
• To meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

We do notsell your personal information, and we don’t use it for unrelated advertising.

3. Email outreach and unsubscribing

Occasionally we email a business after running an automated accessibility scan of its public website, using a contact address published on that site. That email is a single, one-time message about what we found. Every outreach email includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops any further contact from us, and we keep a suppression record so you aren’t contacted again. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing securityteam@stockm8.com.au. We aim to meet the requirements of the Australian Spam Act 2003 for all commercial electronic messages.

4. Where your information is stored

We use reputable service providers to run our business. Depending on the interaction, your information may be stored or processed by:

• Vercel and Railway — website and application hosting.
• A PostgreSQL database — for records such as scan requests, contacts, and suppression lists.
• Cloudflare R2 — file and report storage.
• Resend — sending transactional and outreach email.
• Stripe — payment processing.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and applicable privacy law.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies needed to function and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage (for example, which pages are visited). We don’t use invasive cross-site advertising trackers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, tax records). Suppression/unsubscribe records are kept precisely so we can honour your request not to be contacted. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that’s wrong or out of date;
• delete your information, where we’re not required to keep it; and
• stop contacting you.

If you’re in the EU or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email securityteam@stockm8.com.au. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work with established providers and limit access to what’s necessary.

9. Complaints

If you think we’ve mishandled your information, please contact us first at securityteam@stockm8.com.auso we can put it right. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always here with the “last updated” date above.
